Barry Kassab - Electronics & sound engineer

Growing up, Barry was fascinated by electronics. It could have simply ended there for Barry, but his father continuously supervising and directing his curiosity would ultimately lead to Barry studying Electrical Engineering. Along the years he picked up the electric guitar and by the last year of university, Barry found his passion in Audio engineering.

His academic background gave him a head start as he worked in his first studio engineering position in 2007 impressing clients and helping them find their sound. Soon after, he started to get involved with live audio production and TV audio production.

Although he built a reputation for himself in the Audio engineering space, his passion for working with his hands and a lifetime of experience in audio engineering, electrical engineering and luthiery led him to open Barry Electronics & Audio-works. The company provides services in audio engineering, back line rentals, rehearsal space for local musicians, a guitar workshop and a well equipped recording studio.

Barry Kassab is one of the few listed guitar luthiers in Dubai.
